ATO has announced Lami 1.0 for iOS. In the US$0.99 game, Lami is a cute character. Each Lami has a distinct color. The key to the game is how fast you can find specific colored Lamis. The Lamis cyclically shift left or right, exchange their positions and hide their colors. So you have to concentrate with each cycle getting shorter when you play to a higher level.

StusApps has released Mathical Vol.1 and Mathical HD Vol.1 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Developed by primary school teachers to target key skills, it’s a five-in-one compilation of fast paced games for primary and elementary aged children to practice mental calculation skills. Mathical games all have customizable and increasing levels of difficulty depending on the age or ability of the child. Mathical Vol.1 for the iPhone and iPod touch is $0.99, and Mathical HD Vol.1 for iPad is $1.99.

Dreambrother has introduced Salute to Me Lite 1.0 for iOS devices. In the free game, you’re a president who must keep discipline among your troops. Take out your palm to teach them what is called “Order.” Pick up game property to hit those soldiers who are not in the right order by tapping the screen. The further you are, the speed of troops will get faster and more soldiers will be given a lesson.

Lola Panda has launched the “easiest Sudoku game in the world for all children who like to have fun and develop logical thinking.” Even 4-year old children can purportedly play this Sudoku game since it is designed very carefully and has spoken instructions. In Lola’s Fruit Shop Sudoku (which is free), the player is invited to help Lola Panda to sort out the fruit. The Fruit Shop opens at the end of the game.

Code Redman has debuted High Low 88, a card game exclusive to the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. It’s a free version of the card game Higher or Lower where the player has to guess if the value of the next card in the deck will be higher or lower than the previously drawn card. The game features large animated playing cards, Game Center integration and a language neutral user interface.

Apple iOS device owners can now broadcast their Facebook messages as a personalized “news radio” using Messages Aloud, created by VoiZapp. The app brings text-to-speech technology to Facebook messages on all iOS devices. Messages Aloud Lite (free) reads aloud your latest 10 messages, while Messages Aloud Pro ($1.99) can read all of your friends’ messages as they arrive for as long as you wish, even while in the background.

Sparkin’ Apps has unleashed Monster Warrior 1.01 for iOS, a 3D game that challenges the speed and accuracy of virtual warriors as they slash and kill flying monsters but avoid bouncing bunnies. Set in a spooky castle, the bunnies escape before the evil witch can eat them. She sends her monsters across the marshes, past haunted houses to re-capture the bunnies. Monster Warrior is free during the introductory promotion; starting Sept.1 1 the game will be $0.99.

Colorific 1.0 is a new drawing and coloring iPad app for children. It allows kids either to draw pictures from scratch or to color one of the multiple templates built into the app. Currently Colorific costs $2.99 and comes with 40  templates to color. There will soon be a free, lite version available that will have limited functionality and a smaller number of templates.

Sky Shark Studios is presenting the iPhone version of Total Turret, an arcade style 3-D shooter that was previously available for iPad only. The $0.99 game features classic turret defense gameplay combined with “intense action and strategy.” In Total Turret users must strategically plan their campaign to withstand enemy unit tanks and successfully complete the mission using a variety of tactics and available weapons in Survival and Campaign modes.
