Jumsoft has introduces Bill Engine 1.0, their new invoicing application for the Mac. It requires Mac OS X 10.7, costs US$19.99 and is available at the Jumsoft web site (http://www.jumsoft.com) and the Mac App Store in the Business category.
Designed for small businesses and self-employed people, Bill Engine features a system to create and manage invoices for both products and services. Billing for services is facilitated by a time-tracking function, and users can analyze their invoicing activities after creating a number of simple yet informative reports.
Bill Engine allows a user to keep a list of individuals and companies with whom he or she works and shows all client information that matters in the billing process. The Inventory list displays all kinds of products and services that the user’s business provides. These two lists come together in the Projects feature, where the user can record the products sold to a specific client and track the time spent on the provided services.
Once a project is set up, a user can generate an invoice with just a couple of clicks. Bill Engine includes five types of comprehensible reports: Projects, Invoices, Payments, Billed & Collected, and Client Summary.
