Yanobox has introduced Moods, a color grading plug-in with support for Final Cut Pro X; Motion 3, 4 and 5; and Adobe After Effects CS3, CS4, CS5 and CS5.5. Offered at US$49, users can download a trial version from http://www.yanobox.com/.
Moods sports a heads-up display interface for grading your HD footage in full screen mode. You can move the controls horizontally to control the black level. Drag up or down to desaturate or create silver colors. Combine silver with contrast to get the bleach bypass look.
There are also Exposure/Gamma, 3-Way Color Balance, Wash Shadow and Transparent Rendering features. Artists can use Moods presets or design and save their own looks.
