Ten One Design (http://www.TenOneDesign.com) has unveiled the Magnus, a magnetic stand for the iPad 2. It goes on sale this week for US$49.95.
Taking advantage of the Apple tablet’s integrated magnetic properties, it has a magnetic grip on the iPad 2. You can watch movies, video chat or surf the web in landscape mode.
Nearly invisible from the front, the simple lines and sleek aluminum body of the Magnus “create a sophisticated, low-profile design perfect for high-end workspaces,” according to the folks at Ten One Design. Plus, the smooth, buttery, silver finish complements the iPad’s minimalistic design, they add. The Magnus is designed to be used without an iPad case and in landscape mode.
