Macoscope has released HUDTube 1.4, an update to their video playback utility for Mac OS X. The upgrade supports Apple’s AirPlay and browser extensions.
HUDTube is designed to let you enjoy browser-free videos. If it plays on your Mac with HUDTube, it also plays on your Apple TV.
To use HUDTube you install a Safari or Chrome plug-in. Without dragging, you can send your videos and playlists to the app window.
HUDTube requires Mac OS X 10.6.6 or later. It costs US$4.99 and is available worldwide through the Mac App Store in the Video category.
