This week’s “MUG Event Calendar” is dominated by Final Cut User Group events, with some others thrown in for good measure.
“Macworld” Senior Editor Christopher Breen will be at one California group, while digital artist Burt Monroy will visit another. That said the week belongs to Final Cut Pro groups, with a huge focus on the new 10.0.3 update to Final Cut, and the new utility to move projects from Final Cut Pro 7 to Final Cut Pro X.
Groups in Indianapolis and Chicago will be covering these topics, with Larry Jordan leading the discussion in Los Angeles. Other topics on this week’s agenda includes iBooks Author, iTunes, the Mountain Lion announcement and more.
“The MUG Event Calendar” can be found at The MUG Center (http://www.mugcenter.com), an online resource for Mac User Groups. MUGs are good places for making new friends in the Mac community, improving your computing skills, finding solutions to technical problems, and perhaps locating a good deal on used hardware. For more info on MUGs, and to find the location of the one nearest you, go to Apple’s MUG page (http://www.apple.com/usergroups/).
