The cellular-enabled variants of the new iPad seem to be comparatively unpopular, “perhaps because of how quickly they are capable of crushing limited data plans,” according to new data from Localytics (http://www.localytics.com). The research group found that:
° Only 6% of iPad sessions are via a cellular network.
° 8.8% are via 3G-enabled devices.
° 1.5% are via 4G-enabled devices.
° 89.7% are via Wi-Fi devices.
