One of the busiest week’s in awhile is coming up on “The MUG Event Calendar.”
Apple Senior Systems Engineer Dave Marra will present to a Pennsylvania group, while Apple’s Michael Mills will do the same in North Carolina. Andy Ihnatko will make his annual visit to a Colorado group, while Dave Hamilton of “The Mac Geek Gab “and “Mac Observer” will discuss home networking with a New Jersey group.
Smile will have a double-header presence when Jean MacDonald presents to a Colorado group and Maia Olson visits a Texas group, and Ian Schray of WellReadApps will show off DropKey to an Oregon group. Other topics on the agenda for the week include astronomy apps, Lion, QuickTime, Final Cut X, Pages, Skype, iCat, FaceTime, photo retouching, audiobooks and much more.
“The MUG Event Calendar” can be found at The MUG Center (http://www.mugcenter.com), an online resource for Mac User Groups. MUGs are good places for making new friends in the Mac community, improving your computing skills, finding solutions to technical problems, and perhaps locating a good deal on used hardware. For more info on MUGs, and to find the location of the one nearest you, go to Apple’s MUG page (http://www.apple.com/usergroups/).
