Chronos has released LaunchMagic 4, the successor to F10 Launch Studio and a major upgrade to its launch manager for Mac OS X.
Chronos invented the full-screen launch manager and first released it as F10 Launch Studio at Macworld Expo 2003 in San Francisco, California. Nine years later, Chronos is giving it a simpler name (LaunchMagic) and has made it faster, easier to use, and more powerful, according to Jerry Halls, vice president of Sales at Chronos.
Among the new features are menu bar access, support for documents and folders, document searching, Quick Look previews with full path info and more. The application is a 64-bit only application and requires Mac OS X Lion.
A fully functional, 30-day trial version can be downloaded from Chronos’ web site (http://www.chronosnet.com). LaunchMagic costs US$29.99 for a single user license; a family pack is available for $49.99. Registered F10 Launch Studio 1.x, 2.x, and 3.x customers can upgrade to LaunchMagic 4 for $14.99.
