Milestone Technologies, an IT service provider and Apple system integrator providing solutions and services to Fortune 1000 companies around the world, has joined the Enterprise Device Alliance, (http://enterprisedevicealliance.org/). The EDA is an organization designed to provide information to IT managers and administrators about the ways they can leverage their Windows infrastructure, management tools and expertise to easily integrate Macs into their organizations.

As part of the organization, Milestone will participate in the educational, research and interoperability activities that the EDA conducts and contribute its integration experience to help enterprises deploy, integrate and manage Macs, iPhones and iPads in a Windows environment.

“We are delighted that Milestone has chosen to team with the EDA at this critical juncture as IT departments deal with the explosive growth of Apple Macs, iPads and iPhones in the enterprise,” says T. Reid Lewis, president of both the EDA and GroupLogic. “Milestone’s reputation for business and technical acumen align with and strengthen the core value proposition of the EDA. Milestone’s commitment to its customers will facilitate smooth deployment, integration and management of Apple devices in a Windows environment.”

The first activity that Milestone will participate in as a member of the EDA is a hosted Luncheon for IT professionals to be conducted on May 17 in San Jose. Additionally, Milestone will co-host a webcast entitled “IT trends in Consumerization and BYOD” to be presented June 13.
