Codespot Software Company has announced Battleship: Alien Invaders 1.0 for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. It’s an US$1.99 naval combat game in which players have to observe the moves of alien warship to predict its radar coordinates and launch missiles to destroy it before this enemy battleship can approach theirs.

PixelSplincher has released TV TuneUp 3D 1.0, a 3DTV test and calibration system for iPad and iPhone. The $2.99 app sends stereoscopic and standard test signals to displays and projectors connected to the iPad via HDMI, analog video adapters, or AirPlay. Executive mode lets anyone tune a display in a few steps, engineer mode provides standard professional-grade test signals for formats from NTSC to HDTV. 3D mode lets you tune 3D crosstalk, alignment, and parallax viewing comfort.

MyClickApps has introduced Feedswire 1.0 for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The $0.99 app lets you create a customized RSS portal that you can review regardless of whether you’re online or offline.

Tonaflod has unveiled Perky Pranksters: Have Fun in the Country 1.0 for the iPad. It’s an $3.99, interactive book for kids featuring Genie the grey cat, Dapper the rust cat, and Rex the collie dog.

Manytoed Creations has debuted Carmen 1.0, their new music visualizer tool for iOS. The $2.99 app lets you see the music you are listening to on your iOS device through a variety of visualizers.

Infraware has premieredPolaris Office for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. The $0.99 app gives users the power to view and edit Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel files, and text files, and view PDF files on the go.

Making fun has unleashed launches Zombro, a free single player puzzle action game for iOS. In the app players embark on an adventure across the United States with an “adorable and friendly zombie.” Players detach Zombro’s legs, torso, and brains and control them separately to jump, dodge and roll through each level — all while avoiding deadly traps and solving puzzles to finish each level with Zombro back in one piece.

The new, $1.99 Fat Finger app is a text-to-speech tool designed for people that have difficulty accurately selecting letters from a keyboard. With the keyboard optimizer feature on, you see the benefit oh having the larger letters for text entry.
