Foxconn, the China-based facility that makes iPhones and iPads for Apple (among other products), is investing US$210 million to build a new factory in October to specifically serve Apple, according to “China Daily” (as noted by “CNET”).
The facility will be in China’s eastern Jiangsu province, will cover an area of 40,000 square meters and employ 35,800 worker. It’s unknown exactly what products and/or components the factory will make.
