Swipea has announced The Dream, a free iOS app for kids from its World Explorer series. The World Explorer series will encompass several titles that will allow children to discover different world cultures through moral story, educational games and fun facts.

Star Arcade has released Crazy Gardens 1.0 for iOS. The US$1.99 social gaming app offers turn-by-turn gameplay between mobile players on different devices who are able to plant seeds, flowers, weeds and carnivorous plants to get success by planting four plants in horizontal and vertical rows. However, the garden sabotage strategies, weapons and tools used by opposing players make the game competitive.

4KidCal has introduced 4KidCal 1.0 for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. The $1.99 calendar app was developed specifically for young children with the goal of teaching them how to organize events, make plans for the days ahead, and learn the skills of long term time management.

Cupco Games has unveiled Splat Attack 1.0 for iOS. The $0.99 game is set in a colorfully drawn world in which players take control of Anthony, a brilliant engineer ant who’s been put in charge of defending the Queen’s treasures. Using his constructed turret, Anthony’s mission is to resist bandit bugs who try to invade his ant hill.

Mobivention has launched Sudoku Supreme 1.0, a version of the Japanese number-puzzle game for iOS devices. A Sudoku puzzle is a grid of nine by nine squares which are divided into nine regions. The aim of the game is to fill the grid with digits from one to nine. Sudoku Supreme 1.0 is free and comes with more than 500 puzzles in four difficulty levels. Further puzzles and board designs can be bought via in-app purchases.

Digitags has debuted iDrumming 1.0 — Pro Drums Set for iOS. It’s a free music app that offers a customizable drum set. With eight square pads on iPhone and iPod touch, and 12 pads on iPad, the app includes six categories of percussion samples. The app features low latency, changeable pitch and volume for each sample, 16-bit sampling, multitouch capability, and two different stop modes. Including 11 unlocked samples, an additional 200-plus are available via in-app purchase.

Simiula has premiered Lotto’s Lucky Dice 1.0 for iOS. In the $1.99 app, using life-like dice, users shake the device to get the wining numbers. Lotto’s Lucky Dice comes equipped with major world-wide lottery presets, allowing users to select preferred lottery games.

The National Association for Child Development and ASCI have teamed up for Simply Smarter Kids-Memory. It’s a $1.99 iPhone and iPad app for developing short-term and working memory in children and adults.

GPSmyCity.com has presented MyCityAntiquing 1.0 for iOS. The free app is designed antique-hunting travelers by offering into on a city’s “hidden” antique shops. Users may search for antique marketplaces, shops, fairs, and auction houses in over 70 cities worldwide.

IdeaSolutions is offering Amerigo 1.0, a $4.99 browser for iOS. Users can download documents, videos, MP3s and pictures from the Internet directly while browsing.

The travel app series, iSayHello, for iOS and Android, breaks down the language barrier when traveling. The apps start at $1.99 and feature a collection of important phrases that are being used when on vacation. The phrases are presented in eleven lessons, translated into several languages. An integrated online translator covers more than 100 language combinations. iSayHello apps are available in English, French, Spanish, European Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Italian, Russian, Japanese, German and Chinese.
