Apple has updated Configurator — its Mac utility for the mass deployment of iPhones, iPads, and iPod touches — to version 1.1. The upgrade adds a preference to disable auto-removal of app and profiles when a configuration is re-applied and a preference to stop re-application of a configuration when a device is connected.
Apple says Configurator makes it easy for anyone to mass configure and deploy iPhones, iPod touches and iPads in a school, business or institution. Up to 30 devices at a time can be configured. It’s a free download at the Mac App Store.
