Apple has released new versions of Xcode and Remote Desktop for the Mac, and iTunes U for iOS devices.
Xcode 4.4 adds Mountain Lion support, Retina display support and new C++ and Objective-C features, more. Xcode is a tool for developers for creating Mac OS X and iOS apps.
Remote Desktop lets you manage Macs on your network. Version 3.6 addresses issues related to overall reliability, usability and compatibility. You can obtain the Xcode and Remote Desktop updates via the Software Updates component of the Mac OS X Systems Preferences app.
The iTunes U app gives you access to complete courses from leading universities and other schools — plus a free digital catalog of free education content — right on your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch. iTunes U 1.2 makes it easy to take notes while watching or listening to a lecture. This update — avialable at the Apple App Store — also adds the ability to search within posts, assignments, notes, and materials from any of your subscribed courses using the improved Search feature in iTunes U.
