TABU Products (http://www.tabuproducts.com) has announced the availability of the Universal Mini Stand on Kickstarter, a funding platform for creative projects. It can be wall mounted or table top mounted to any flat surface with the reusable, and removable, sticky pad.
The Universal Mini Stand holds the iPhone in either landscape or portrait mode, allowing users to type, FaceTime chat, text or surf the web. The sticky pad allows users to mount the iPhone on any flat surface in a car for a safe and clutter-free GPS solution. Additionally, users can combine several Universal Mini Stands together to hold up larger devices such as the iPad or Samsung Galaxy Tab.
The Universal Mini Stand doubles as a cable organizer. Users can wrap earphones or cables around the stand for a tangle-free carrying solution or keep charge cords secure without allowing the cable to fall to the floor when unplugged.
TBU is offering five “early bird” specials for contributors to fund the project with prices ranging from US$5 to $30 or more. Once the early bird specials are sold out, backers can still contribute $7 for a black or white Universal Mini Stand or chose from a number of other options.
