Appsoft Studio has released Frame King 1.0, a Mac OS X application for combining several photos into frames and creating photo compositions. It requires Mac OS X 10.6 or later, costs US$1.99 and is available exclusively through the Mac App Store in the Graphics & Design category.

Frame King includes a variety of frame templates with resizable borders. Pictures can be dragged into frames and then enhanced with additional features like rounded corners, shadows or text. Collages can be created in a few steps and used for websites, iWork applications like Keynote and Pages, or shared on social networks.

Frame templates in Frame King support up to four photos in one frame. Every frame template is adjustable with custom frame sizes, colors or built-in design patterns. What’s more, frame borders between photos can be moved and proportions of each photograph changed in this way.
