Rino Workshop has announced Singing Monster Nutcracker 1.0 for the iPad. The US$0.99 app features Nutcrackers created in the likenesses of a Frankenstein, Wolfman, Dracula and Zombie. Users make the characters sing songs from the preset tunes –or play their own music with the built-in keyboard. Monsters can listen and respond. Users just pull up the mic and they’ll answer yes or no questions.

Happymagenta has released Pilot’s Path for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. It’s a $0.99 helicopter simulator where players take on the role of an ex-US Air Force helicopter pilot who is forced to enter the criminal underworld. After disobeying orders from his commanding officers, an ace pilot faces a dishonorable discharge. By performing services for criminal kingpins, the pilot must rebuild his reputation in order to once again retake the skies.

Internet Design Zone has introduced Anime Dress Up For Girls 1.0. The free app is designed specifically for girls ages 4-12. They can dress up the anime doll in one of the five themes: College, Kimono, Mermaid, Punk Rocker and Fairy.

Techno-Magic has unveiled UniClock 1.0. The $0.99 app lets you set alarms by using only gestures.

Zephyr Games has launched Legend of Fat Ninja 1.0. The $1.99 game combines the skill based gameplay of physics games such as Angry Birds, with the arcade scoring and chaining mechanics of pinball and point-based arcade games. Every time you launch Fat Ninja into a level, you can direct his movements by tapping in the direction for him to attack.

Flat Earth Studio has debuted Sarah Seidelmann’s What the Walrus Knows: An Eccentric’s Field Guide to Working with Beastie Energies 1.0. Based on the book of the same name, and focused on the ancient premise of interconnectedness between humans and animals, the $4.99 app is designed to help people recognize and understand messages from “Beastie messengers.” it includes a field guide with over 150 Beasties, an integrated journal, a guided shamanic meditation into the lower world and more.

Mark Blum has presented Marx Runner 1.0 for the iPhone and iPod touch. The $0.99 jogging app “turns your daily run into an interactive motivational music experience” by allowing you to “become your own DJ, then play back your creations and let them push you to commit to your runs.”

Zephyr Games has rolled out Kirin Wars: The Perilous Dawn. It’s a $1.99, turn-based tactical RPG with retro gameplay and an array of missions.

IK Multimedia has created DJ Rig for the iPad. The mobile DJ mixing tool is available for $19.99 for a limited time.

ThinkTime Creations says the Mac app, Polaroid Instant, is now available on the iPad. With Instant: The Polaroid Instant Photos for iPad 1.0 (available for $1.99 for a limited time) users can snap a photo using the tablet’s camera, or select an existing image from the photo library. You can apply special effects such as adding a Polaroid filter and then framing it within a Polaroid Classic Border Logo format with the option to write a caption.

Go Bananas 1.0 is a new, free game involving a friendly monkey with a slingshot.
