One of the busiest week’s we have seen for some time is shaping up on this week’s “MUG Event Calendar.”
Adam Engst of “TidBITS” and Take Control will make two different appearances; one in person at a group in New York, and another, virtual one with his wife Tonya Engst at a group in California. Not to be outdone, Apple Senior Systems Engineer Dave Marra will also make two MUG visits, one to a New Jersey group, the other to a Pennsylvania group.
Kelly Guimont of the Unofficial Apple Weblog will speak to an Oregon group, and Paul Slapikas of Woodside Software will talk about iPhone app development at a New York group. Other topics up for discussion this week include cloud computing, Keynote, iPhone 6, iOS 6, OS X Lion, Dropbox, and more.
“The MUG Event Calendar” can be found at The MUG Center (http://www.mugcenter.com), an online resource for Mac User Groups. MUGs are good places for making new friends in the Mac community, imProving your computing skills, finding solutions to technical Problems, and perhaps locating a good deal on used hardware. For more info on MUGs, and to find the location of the one nearest you, go to Apple’s MUG page (http://www.apple.com/usergroups/).
