A Mexican court has denied Apple’s bid to continue selling devices named “iPhone” while it battles a trademark dispute with a Mexican telecommunications company called iFone, according to PhoneArena.com.

The decision results from a 2009 suit Apple filed, trying to stop the Mexican company from using the name “iFone.” The Mexican company is also suing Apple for infringement, asking for 40 % of Apple’s profits off iPhone sales, according to PhoneArena.
