Dirac Research AB has released the Dirac Dirac Live Room Correction Suite, a software solution that delivers optimized sound quality for any Mac or PC-based HiFi system.
The software, which requires a microphone, measures the acoustic performance of the system within the listening room and optimizes playback performance accordingly, providing the most transparent music reproduction possible, says Dirac CEO Mathias Johansson. A point of emphasis with the Dirac software is that it optimizes all sound from the computer using any music/media player as well as standard sound output devices, he adds.
