Simplify — a desktop remote controller for OS X that works with browser-based streaming music services like Pandora, Deezer and V — has been revved to version 2.5.
It integrates these streaming services to operating system, allows controlling playback within browser. Simplify also scrobbles all your songs from web-players to Last.fm, display their album covers on the desktop, pauses playback during Skype calls, and more. Version 2.5 adds:
° Experimental web clients to control Pandora, Deezer, Vkontakte and possibly many more online players right from Simplify;
° The ability to select which player you want to control right now if there are many players opened at the same time.
° An auto-pause feature during Skype calls;
° A Last.fm scrobbling preference pane that allows you to select particular players to scrobble from;
° An option to enable/disable Apple Remote Controllers;
° Retina display support;
° A new desktop cover.
Also, Simplify will now ask you what to do when you launch multiple players simultaneously. It requires Mac OS X 10.6 or later
Simplify 2.5 is US$4.99 and is available through the Mac App Store in the Music category (http://tinyurl.com/aljownq).
