Hazel for OS X gets the ability to upload files to remote servers

Noodlesoft has rolled out Hazel 3.1 (www.noodlesoft.com/hazel.php) for Mac OS X. The update adds the ability to upload files to remote servers and to match or extract text and data from file contents.

Other features include improved date matching/extraction, optional notes that can be attached to rules and additional options for moving and copying files. In addition, Hazel 3.1 provides numerous performance improvements and fixes.

Hazel is a housekeeper for your folders and files. Using Hazel’s rule engine, you can create workflows that keep your files organized automatically. The app also features options for managing your Trash and includes an intuitive application uninstaller.

Hazel 3.1 requires Mac OS X 10.7 or later. A 14-day demo is available for download. This update is free for existing registered users. For new users the cost is US$28.
