Sanho Corp. has introduced the latest member of the iUSBport family: iUSBport Mini. Similar to the original iUSBport, the US$89.95 connects to any USB storage device (including USB hard drives and flash drives) and wirelessly makes the contents accessible to iOS, Android or any Wi-Fi enabled device.
Shaped like a USB flash drive with a built-in MicroSDXC slot, as well as a USB host port, the iUSBport Mini has a built-in wireless router that creates its own wireless network to share USB/MicroSDXC data with nearby devices. You can purportedly stream up to three different 1080p HD movies to three different devices or stream music, photos and perform two-way file transfer with up to eight different users.
It’s a standalone device that requires no Internet, computers, routers or external power. To use it with an iDevice, you download a free app from the Apple App Store. For more info go to www.hypershop.com .
