Data Extractor for Mac OS X gets improved auto-detection of file encoding

Tension Software (www.tensionsoftware.com) has updated Data Extractor, its OS X tool for extracting data from files and collecting them in exportable tables, to version 1.3.1 The new version sports improved auto-detection of file encoding to extract (UTF8, ASCII, UTF16, UTF32, OLD MAC OS 9) and others.

Data Extractor 1.3.1 requires Mac OS X 10.8 or higher. It costs US$40 and is available from both the Mac App Store and the Tension Software website.
