WaterField Designs (http://www.sfbags.com) has unveiled the Outback Solo for the new 13-inch MacBook Air. The waxed canvas and premium leather case costs US$109 and will ship May 16.
The Outback Solo cradles the MacBook Air with two layers of protection: neoprene enveloped in water-resistant, tan-waxed canvas. The offset, brown leather flap secures contents with a magnetic enclosure.
Two front pockets hold a smartphone or iPad mini, items such as wallets and keys, and a charger for overnight trips. An optional strap ($19) transforms the Solo into an over-the-shoulder bag.
