The Coding Monkeys have updated SubEthaEdit
(http://www.codingmonkeys.de/subethaedit/), a text editor for Mac OS
X, to version 4.0.1. The upgrade anticipates some of OS X Yosemite’s translucent user interface features.

SubEthaEdit 4.0.1 — available at the Mac App Store, as well as from The Coding Monkeys — also a fixes some bugs.

SubEthaEdit’s tabbed window interface helps to reduce window clutter
by grouping documents in a single window with a tab bar, according to
the Coding Monkeys. Tabs include keyboard access, and support
drag-and-drop to tear off, recombine and sort individual tabs.
However, the traditional multi window interface is still fully
supported.

SubEtha 4.0.1 is a free update for registered users of version 4.x. For new users the cost is US$29.99. It requires Mac OS X 10.9 or higher.
