Nulana has released Flexiglass 1.6. an update that brings compatibility with Mac OS X 10.10.2 and fixes for such features as Real Zoom and Quick Layouts in multi-monitor configurations.
Flexiglass offers a new way to move, resize, maximize, close and arrange windows on the screen with a mouse, keyboard, trackpad, and graphics tablet. It allows a Mac user to move and resize windows by clicking anywhere on them and arrange multiple windows on the screen.
Move & Resize features add a Linux style Alt-Dragging to manage windows. Quick Layouts option is similar to Aero Snap in Windows and is a solution for working with multiple windows that can be resized to take up halves or quarters of the screen or go full screen. Quick Layout Shortcuts allow users to do the same things using only a keyboard.
Real Zoom improves default behavior of the green Zoom button and expands a window to full screen. Real Close makes the red system button to quit the application.
Flexiglass is compatible with OS X 10.6.6 or later. It costs US$9.99 and is available worldwide through the Mac App Store in the Utilities category and on the Nulana website. A demo version is available for download at the Nulana site (http://nulana.com/).
