Karelia Software has shipped Sandvox 2.10 and announced a new Sandvox Hosting service.
Sandvox 2.10 now provides access to the new Sandvox Hosting service in this update to the website building software for OS X. New Sandvox Hosting provides fundamental hosting from directly within Sandvox, integrated and optimized for hosting most Sandvox sites.

Now, the combination of Sandvox 2.10 and Sandvox Hosting lets you publish a site by just entering your name and email address, and choosing a password. It’s that easy.”
The combination of Sandvox 2.10 and Sandvox Hosting provides customers an easy mechanism for hosting their site without the complexity of configuring a hosting setup, he adds. Sandvox users simply sign up directly from Sandvox and click the Publish button for a live website. Sandvox Hosting is available exclusively to Sandvox customers, for use only with Sandvox.
Sandvox users can now choose Sandvox Hosting, or configure their hosting setup to use a traditional hosting provider. Sandvox 2.10 also provides a streamlined experience for setting up a traditional host.
Sandvox Hosting is optimized for the vast majority of Sandvox websites. However, those sites with specific server-side processing will want to continue to use a traditional hosting provider.
Sandvox users can try Sandvox Hosting for 14 days. Sandvox Hosting packages are available on a monthly basis, or by choosing from three yearly subscription options that include a privately-registered domain name. Sandvox Hosting supports custom domain name acquisition, domain aliasing and email forwarding.
Sandvox Hosting Starter publishes to a subdomain for US$7.99 per month, with 2GB of data transfer and 1GB of storage. All yearly hosting packages include one privately registered custom domain. Sandvox Hosting Single publishes to one domain for $99 per year, with 10GB per month of data transfer and 5GB of storage.
Sandvox Hosting Multi publishes to up to 10 domains for $144 per year, with a total of 45GB per month of data transfer and 10GB of storage. Sandvox Hosting Mega publishes to an unlimited number of domains for $199 per year, with a total of 75GB per month of data transfer and 15GB of storage.
