Digital Heaven has launched SpeedScriber 2.0 (www.speedscriber.com) for macOS. It’s an automated transcription app designed for professional content creators.
Version 2.0 adds such new features as support for Dutch, French, German, Italian and Spanish languages. It also adds the ability to export to iTunes Timed Text for creation of captions with the latest version of Final Cut Pro X.
SpeedScriber requires macOS 10.11.5 or later. It’s available as a free download from the Mac App Store). A SpeedScriber account is required. Additional minutes can be purchased and the duration of each imported file is rounded up to the next whole minute then deducted from the account balance when submitted for transcription.
