Apple to introduce a new iPhone SE next year (I expect it to replace the ‘mini’ iPhone)

Apple will update the iPhone SE, its 4.7-inch entry-level iPhone, with an updated A14 Bionic processor in the first half of 2022, according to a DigiTimes.

The Sellers Research Group (that’s me) thinks that timetable sounds about right. I also Apple NOT to offer a “mini” iPhone next year. There seems to be little need for two budget iPhones, and I think Apple will go with the SE. After all, sales of the iPhone mini have been disappointing.
