° Today Apple Music will host a global livestream for the premiere of Kanye West’s tenth studio album, titled “Donda.”

° Apple suppler Foxconn tells CNBC that it hasn’t been affected by the massive floods in China.

° According to Apple’s developer website, a tax category is now available in App Store Connect. App Store Connect is a suite of web-based tools for managing content sold on iTunes, the iBooks Store, and the various app stores.

° As noted by MacRumors, upcoming AirPods Pro firmware updates are now available to Apple Developer Program members as beta versions.

° In a note to clients — as noted by AppleInsider — the investment bank Wedbush believes that an iPhone “supercycle” and Apple’s services will lead to another major earnings beat when the Cupertino tech giant reports its quarter three 2021 quarterly results.

° A citizen of the United Kingdom was arrested yesterday in Estepona, Spain, by Spanish National Police pursuant to a U.S. request for his arrest on multiple charges in connection with the July 2020 hack of Twitter that resulted in the compromise of over 130 Twitter accounts, including those belonging to politicians, celebrities and companies.

° The Federal Trade Commission has unanimously voted to ramp up law enforcement against repair restrictions that prevent small businesses, workers, consumers, and even government entities from fixing their own products. The policy statement adopted “is aimed at manufacturers’ practices that make it extremely difficult for purchasers to repair their products or shop around for other service providers to do it for them.”

° Apple recently expanded its presence in Beaverton, Ore., with the lease of some 50,000 square feet of office Space, notes the Portland Business Journal.
