° From AppleInsider: Apple CEO Tim Cook says as a hiker, he appreciates the company’s new Emergency SOS, and that investing in new features like this is how to get through tough economic times.

° From Apple’s YouTube channel: The company has posted an ad highlighting the Emergency SOS feature on the iPhone 14 line-up.

° From iMore: A teen was saved by his Apple Watch after he fell 150ft and didn’t have his iPhone to call for help. He was able to use his Apple Watch Series 7 to contact his parents, with emergency services able to attend as a result.
