° From 9to5Mac: After an analyst described the Arizona TSMC plant as a “paperweight” – due to the fact that all the chips it makes will have to be sent to Taiwan for the final stage of production – the state’s governor has claimed that this might change.

° From iMore: Expectations were already high for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max’s new A17 Pro chip after their September 15 unveiling, and it turns out that those expectations are entirely justified.

° From MacRumors: Apple has added the M2 Ultra Mac Pro models to its online store for refurbished products in the United States, offering the newest version of the desktop machine at a discounted price for the first time since its launch.
