Vero Beach, FL – September 14, 1997: Core technologies, Inc. today
announced Net Tools, a plug-in extension offering Open Transport native API

Introduction
Net Tools is a 4D plug-in that provides an elegant and affordable solution
for creating database applications that support cummunications with the
Internet through “open standards” based TCP/IP or UDP protocols.
With Net Tools over 100 commands you can build complete internet based open
solutions for both both MacOS and Windows. Your applications are freely
transportable across platforms and, furthermore, they don’t suffer from
4D’s limitations concerning the number of internet connections avalible
through 4D current web licensing scheme.
