INSIDER FONTAGENT 8.0.1 ENHANCES USER REGISTRATION
September 20, 1999 [Carlsbad, CA] Insider Software today announced Insider
FontAgent 8.0.1. The latest version improves the software’s registration
process. A registered copy now remains unlocked if the Extensions are
disabled or a new System folder is installed.
All users of FontAgent 8.0 are urged to install the new version and unlock
it with their Access Code. “Once FontAgent 8.0.1 is properly unlocked”,
said Rio Sabadicci, President and CEO, “it will remain registered even if a
new System folder or a Demo of a newer FontAgent 8 is installed. This is
the closest we’ve seen to ‘unlock it and throw away the key'”.
PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
The new release is free to all licensed users of Insider FontAgent 8. Users
can download FontAgent 8 and analyze their font collections for free. To
enable FontAgent 8 to repair and reorganize their fonts, users must
purchase a full license. The FontAgent 8 Standard Edition costs $79 and
manages the fonts on all hard drives on a single Macintosh. The Network
Edition costs $169, and analyzes and synchronizes all the fonts in a
Macintosh workgroup. The Limited Edition costs $29 and analyzes 250 fonts.
