Easy-to-use Tool Eases TIFF Graphics Programming for Developers:
GoodBuddy Software releases TIFF tool 1.0

Effingham, Illinois, USA — 1 Nov 1999 — GoodBuddy Software today
announced the release of version 1.0 of TIFF tool, an easy-to-use tool for
analyzing TIFF image file tags during the development process.

What is TIFF tool?

TIFF tool is an easy-to-use program for discovering what tags are included
in a TIFF graphic file, and what data is contained in those tags.

Developers can use TIFF tool when writing programs that will read or write
TIFF files. The tool helps troubleshoot TIFF files even if they cannot be
opened by a standard graphics application for viewing.

In addition to viewing tag information on screen, TIFF tool lets the user
save a “Tag log” file to summarize all tags and tag info in the opened
source file. This tag log is in a standard format that lends itself to
automatic parsing or database insertion.

TIFF tool is US$9 shareware. It is available from the GoodBuddy Software
web site and all major Macintosh shareware ftp sites.

System Requirements: Any Apple Macintosh or other computer running MacOS
System 7.6.1 or later.

Features

* Can view tags on any valid TIFF image file.
* Support multiple-image TIFF files (i.e. FAX files).
* Exports formatted text file for saving and examining groups of source files.

Availability

TIFF tool is available now, and may be downloaded through our Web site at
