Sig Software is proud to announce the release of version 1.2.2 of Drop
Drawers, its revolutionary user-interface enhancement. As of this version,
Drop Drawers is available both as a Classic Mac OS application and as a
native Carbon application for running on Mac OS X (Developer Preview 4).
Drop Drawers provides floating pull-out, snap-shut drawers on the sides of
your screen to store text, URLs, aliases, pictures, sounds, movies, a list
of running processes and anything else.
According to a recent review in MacUser UK, “Drop Drawers is the most
elegant solution yet to the launcher concept, and deserves a place among
the most useful software additions.” (April 2000)
Apart from being ported to Mac OS X, Drop Drawers 1.2.2 also adds modeless
movie playback and a dialog box to deal with lost alias files.
