Developer Activities at QuickTime Live!
There are several activities of interest to developers at the second annual
QuickTime Live! conference hosted by Apple, October 9-12 at the Beverly
Hilton Hotel.
Apple recently announced the agenda for the DEVELOP track. The sessions are
taking a unique approach to informing the QuickTime developer community.
Instead of the traditional talking head/lecture format, the Develop track
offers roundtable discussions populated by members of the QuickTime
engineering team, code development assistance, feedback forums and hands-on
training classes. The conference provides developers unique access to the
QuickTime engineers. The session lineup is as follows:
Technical Update: QuickTime Client Technologies
Technical Update: QuickTime Server Technologies
Introduction to QuickTime Programming (Limited seating)
Hands-On Developer Assistance with QT Engineering Team
Engineering Feedback Forum
Streaming Roundtable Discussion Group
QuickTime VR Developer Roundtable
QuickTime for Java (Limited seating)
Apple will also be hosting a special Developer social event for interaction
with Apple’s Developer Relations team as well along with the engineering
team.
