iListen 1.1 Available Now

Bedford, NH, November 19, 2001: Macintosh speech recognition authority
MacSpeech, inc. announced today that its long-awaited version 1.1 update is
now available for purchase from resellers and on the company’s web site.
New features in 1.1 include the ability to adapt the user’s voice model
through correction, scan plain text documents to learn new words, a new
“One Shot Command” feature, and support for non-US languages, as well as
many other features and bug fixes.
“We are pleased to finally be able to offer this update,” said MacSpeech
Chief Evangelist Chuck Rogers. “We will continue to offer improvements to
iListen and we are also hard at work on our first dictation product for Mac
OS X.”
iListen requires Mac OS 9.0, 9.0.4, or 9.2.1. Mac OS 9.1 is not compatible
with iListen and it will not run in Mac OS X’s Classic Environment.
