MACSPEECH RELEASES iLISTEN 1.2

Bedford, NH, January 6, 2002: Macintosh speech recognition authority
MacSpeech, Inc. today announced the release of iListen=81 1.2, the latest
incarnation of its popular speech recognition program for Mac OS 9.

Version 1.2 is more stable, substantially increases performance, and
introduces several new features.

Users can now move commands between Command Sets simply by dragging and
dropping them, and there is now the ability to import and export command
sets. Double-clicking a ScriptPak=81 will automatically install it into
iListen, and the company’s popular TypeKey=81 Helper application is back –
having been made compatible with Mac OS 9.2.x. iListen 1.2 also supports
non-US languages, such as the upcoming UK version.

“This is an exciting release for us, since it gives users more flexibility
and restores some of the performance loss we encountered with the release
of iListen 1.1,” said MacSpeech Chief Evangelist Chuck Rogers.

The upgrade is available immediately to registered users on the company’s
web site for $19.95. The full version is also available for $99 without a
headset.

MacSpeech can be found at Macworld Expo in the MacTech Central booth.
iListen is available for sale at the expo from DevDepot.

MacSpeech makes ListenDo!, a free PlainTalk enhancement for voice command
of Macintosh computers, and iListen with exclusive TalkAnywhere=81 dictation=
