Apple UK has launched the Macintosh Solutions Consultants program to “provide our retail customers with an even more satisfying shopping experience — both before and after their Macintosh purchase.” Macintosh Solutions Consultants are Apple-trained sales assistants who are on-hand from Monday to Friday at selected retail stores across the UK — including branches of PC World and John Lewis — to give advice and support on all aspects of the Mac platform. Apple began a similar program in CompUSA stores across the US in 2001.
