Metrowerks today announced the release of CodeWarrior Development Studio 9.0 for Mac OS X. New features in this release include the Metrowerks PowerPlant X C++ framework, which allows developers to write native Mac OS X code using Mac OS X supported features; the fastest compiler and build system available for the Mac platform, according to the press release; a feature that provides developers a visual display of their package and allows for easy drag-and-drop of files or folders into the package; and expanded Objective-C code development within the CodeWarrior tool suite.
