Contour Design Unveils New Macro Capability in Latest Driver for its
Innovative Jog/Shuttle Controller at IBC 2003
WINDHAM, NH – September 8, 2003 – Contour Design, Inc., a leading provider
of innovative, ergonomic computer input devices, announced today the
release of Key Composer(tm), exciting new keystroke macro creation and
management functionality for the ShuttlePRO V.2(tm) multimedia jog/shuttle
controller. Contour Design will be featuring the ShuttlePRO V.2 with Key
Composer at this year’s International Broadcasting Convention, to be held
September 12 – 16 at the Amsterdam RAI. Contour Design will be located in
Stand No. 7.645 at IBC.
Access Multiple Keystroke Combinations with One Touch
With Key Composer, users can now assign multiple keystroke combinations, or
macros, to execute from a single button on the ShuttlePRO V.2. These macros
can be executed either all at once, or step by step, giving ShuttlePRO V.2
users much more control over their applications. Key Composer provides
users many productivity enhancements, including:
– rapid cycling through application tools and windows,
– execution of complex multi-step tasks with the touch of one button, and
– access to multi-key command shortcuts.
Leading Video and Audio Applications Support
The ShuttlePRO V.2 is pre-programmed to make editing fast and easy right
out of the box for many leading audio and video applications, providing
productivity for users across their entire production workflow. Supported
applications include Apple Final Cut Pro and Final Cut Express, Avid
Express DV, Adobe Premiere Pro and Audition, Cakewalk SONAR, Digidesign
ProTools, Emagic Logic Audio, MOTU Digital Performer, Pinnacle Edition and
Commotion, Sonic Foundry ACID, Sound Forge and Vegas Video, Steinberg
Cubase and Nuendo, and many more. Through an intuitive control panel
interface, the ShuttlePRO V.2 is easily programmed to work with virtually
any application.
Availability and Pricing
Key Composer is built into Version 2.5 of the Windows driver for the
ShuttlePRO V.2, available Friday, September 12 via free download from the
Contour Design web site (www.contourdesign.com). A version for Macintosh OS
10 users will be available in October.
The ShuttlePRO V.2 is available now through Contour’s extensive network of
distributors and resellers. The suggested retail price of the ShuttlePRO
V.2 is $129.95.
