Though Adobe is urging PageMaker users to upgrade to InDesign, no Chinese version of InDesign is in the works so some international users have been left in a quandary. However, for customers who use the Chinese Simplified and Chinese Traditional languages, a plug-in from Asia Web called InChinese is in the final stages of development. “AWT InChinese Chinese Plug-in is a Chinese layout plug-in developed by AWT System to provide professional and comprehensive features for Chinese layout and Chinese word processing based on Adobe InDesign,” Adobe spokesperson Denise Styerwalt told MacMinute.
