Media 100 will demonstrate the 844/X Version 3 and Media 100 HD at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) conference, which runs April 17-22 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. 844/X Version 3 is the latest version of the Media 100 editing-compositing system. Dubbed the “Visual Effects Release,” it features advanced keying, 3D DVEs, shadow and glow effects, XML-based metadata interchange and new performance optimization. Media 100 will also be showcasing Media 100 HD, the resolution-independent native HD and SD editing system; it’s the first implementation of 844/X technology on the Power Mac G5 platform.
