Boinx Software announced today that its Untitled App will be known as “Boinx FotoMagico.” The winner of the company’s naming contest, which resulted in almost a thousand suggested names, is Krishna Sadasivam, creator of the comic the PC Weenies. FotoMagico allows the creation of “stunning, professional slideshows with just a few mouse clicks” using images from your iPhoto collection and music from your iTunes music library. Slideshows can also be exported to QuickTime movies and be distributed on DVDs created with iDVD or Toast. Boinx said FotoMagico will be released in a couple of days for US$79.
