Apple has placed 12th in the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) “Best Workplaces for Commuters” list, compiled from Fortune 500 companies, reports AP. About 1,070 companies with a total of 2 million employees participate in EPA’s voluntary program. The top five company’s listed are: Intel, Fannie Mae, Cisco Systems, USAA and Sun Microsystems (tie).
