Sophisticated Circuits Updates
Bothell, WA, 23 December 2004 – Sophisticated Circuits today released three
new Macintosh software updates: PowerKey 4.3, Kick-off! 1.7, and iDo Script
Scheduler 1.6.
All three updates feature a newly rewritten background engine that works
better when multiple users are logged in at the same time using fast user
switching under OS X 10.3 “Panther” and 10.4 “Tiger”.
In addition to assorted minor bug fixes, each update includes these new
features:
* PowerKey control software for the PowerKey Pro 650 programmable power
strip now allows specific outlets to be set to automatically turn on after a
power failure. In addition, for PowerKey Pro Admin users, this update allows
crash detection settings to be configured using AppleScript and it includes
iDo Script Scheduler 1.6. The new PowerKey software v4.3 is free to all USB
PowerKey Pro Model 650 users.
* Kick-off! control software for the USB automated crash recovery device now
allows crash detection settings to be configured using AppleScript. The new
Kick-off! software v1.7 is a free update from Kick-off! v1.5 and later, or a
$35 upgrade from 1.0.
* iDo Script Scheduler can now automatically launch Python, Ruby and Tcl/Tk
scripts (in addition to AppleScript, Perl and shell scripts) at preset
times, when a hot key is pressed, or when the computer is idle. The new iDo
Script Scheduler software v1.6 is a free update from iDo Script Scheduler
v1.5, or can be purchased for $24.95.
