FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Tangelo Weblog Creation Tool Version 1.1 Released with Podcast Support
LANCASTER, PENNSYLVANIA–Brad Rhine Software (http://www.bradrhine.com)
announces the release of Tangelo 1.1 with podcast support. Tangelo is a
weblog creation application installed on the user’s computer as a
standalone application, one of the only weblog tools to do so. Version 1.1
features a number of performance improvements and full Unicode support, but
the most noteworthy feature is the addition of podcasting support. Tangelo
1.1 supports RSS enclosure tags with file uploading, making it compatible
with podcasting audio files and other enclosure types. A full description
of features can be found at http://www.bradrhine.com.
“Tangelo’s first version was already a strong publishing tool with
NetNewsWire support and other great features,” says developer Brad Rhine,
“Now with RSS enclosure support and enclosure uploading, Tangelo is ready
for podcasting and screencasting as well. Podcasting support is one of the
ways in which we continue to make Tangelo a a great web publishing tool.”
“Now I have nearly complete control of the templates, the scripting, and
the posting,” says user Brent Wiese. “You can see this is W3C compliant.
And it’s all done on my desktop.”
User Bill Marcy agrees. “This has got to be some of the easiest, best
thought out software yet. It makes your blogging day effortless and relaxes
you to boot. If you blog, you need Tangelo. Simple as that.”
Adds Rhine, “Our vision for Tangelo is to give our users powerful
capabilities for creation and expression. We’re proud to be the first and
only desktop-based weblog tool to support podcast publication.”
